Frosty Fun

Wisconsin Alumni Association’s ‘Frosty Fun’ brought winter cheer to campus on Saturday, February 8, as part of the Wisconsin Union’s Winter Carnival. The free event offered Badgers of all ages a perfect mix of outdoor activities and indoor warmth at Alumni Park and its visitor center.

"This is our opportunity to just enjoy each other's company, have a lot of fun and celebrate being a Badger," said Tod Pritchard from the Wisconsin Alumni Association. "Whether you're a friend, an alum, or you know a Badger, everyone is welcome."

Visitors escaped the cold inside to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and apple cider. The afternoon featured winter-themed storytelling and art activities provided by the Chazen Museum of Art. DJ Mike Carlson kept the energy high with a winter dance party, while Bucky Badger, the UW Alumni Band, and UW Dance Team, made a special appearance.

Guests also had the opportunity to explore Alumni Park's exhibits, which showcase the achievements of more than 120 UW-Madison alumni.
