Celebrate summer with the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA)! Connect with fellow Badgers and enjoy family-friendly fun including:
- Hands-on activities presented by the Chazen Museum of Art.
- A look back at the history of the lakefront and a celebration of 165 years of the Wisconsin Alumni Association with UW Archives.
- Pontoon boat rides.
- Yard and indoor games.
- Photo opportunities with spirited props — and prints of your photos to take home with you!
This event is free to attend. Registration in advance is encouraged, though day-of walk-in registration will be available.
Pontoon boat rides on Lake Mendota will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Details are below.
Pontoon Boat Ride Details
Boat rides require in-person registration at One Alumni Place. Registration will start 30 minutes before each ride. Capacity is limited, and rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis (starting at time of registration).
Ride Schedule
- 1–1:45 p.m. (registration begins at 12:30 p.m.)
- 2–2:45 p.m. (registration begins at 1:30 p.m.)
- 3–3:45 p.m. (registration begins at 2:30 p.m.)
Rides last approximately 45 minutes. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; no infants or children less than 18 pounds. Each rider must complete a waiver prior to the ride. Ride schedule is subject to change/cancellation due to weather or lake conditions.
