Hello Band Alums!
It’s been a heck of a year as we’ve been working on logistics for this year’s Alumni Band Day. Many members have been working behind the scenes to ensure we have the chance to gather this year and celebrate with fellow band Alumni.
The UW Band Alumni Association was founded with a mission to support the past, present, and future members of the Badger Band. We recognize that most of you know us as the committee that plans and coordinates UW Alumni Band Day every fall, but there is so much more that we do throughout the year to champion our beloved Badger Band. We do this monetarily through funding scholarships and needs like the practice field as well as socially through events throughout the year to bring alumni together -- all of which are funded through your annual dues! Please consider joining UWBAA, regardless of your attendance at this year's UW Alumni Band Day, to help Corey and the current band continue the legacy built by you!
With changes this year in seating options available for Alumni Band Day, UWBAA membership fees have been modified to better position the costs between membership activities. Your UWBAA membership does more than allow you to connect with fellow Alumni! Your membership supports scholarships to the UW School of Music and supplements funding for the UW Marching Band!
We’re looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks over Alumni Band Weekend as well as additional events throughout the year!

Dear Members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band Alumni Association,
I hope that your summer is progressing nicely. For us, the summer is over. This time of the year is special. Reg Week has concluded which means that this’s year’s edition of the band is preparing for the first game. There will be a lifetime of memories from this upcoming season.
The new members are extremely excited to join the UW Marching Band. We were very pleased with their progression throughout Reg Week. The first game will be such a momentous occasion for them. Our returning members are also enthusiastic about what is to come. Words cannot express how integral they are to making sure that the train stays on the track.
We hope that you will join us on September 10th for Alumni Band Day. This is an important event because it allows everyone a chance to reconnect and reminisce about something that is extremely important to us personally as well as the University. In addition, the current members get to see, feel, and hear that they are part of awesome legacy.
Your support means the world to the students. Thank you for being their biggest champions. I hope to see you in September.
