To commemorate UW–Madison’s 175th anniversary and its legacy of positively impacting every corner of Wisconsin, the UW–Madison State Tour will be rolling into towns near you. Packed with family fun, games, giveaways, Babcock ice cream, and more, this is a celebration for all of Wisconsin because the UW is the state’s school — and that makes us all Badgers!
Hailing a History of Statewide Impact
It’s also a celebration of the impact the UW has made, and continues to make, in hometowns throughout the state. From alumni who live near you to local businesses with Badger ties, the UW has been in your area all along, working to improve lives and better the community.
General Tour Highlights
- A special appearance by Bucky Badger
- Complimentary appetizers and samples of Babcock ice cream (including a special commemorative flavor) served out of a specially designed 175th-anniversary ice cream truck
- Family-friendly activities, giveaways, and games
- A chance to win tickets to a Wisconsin Badgers home football game by taking a UW-themed quiz
- A photo booth sporting an iconic UW–Madison backdrop
