Raise your hand if you love summers in Madison!

Although the first day of summer isn't officially until mid-June, once classes are over, summer starts in Madison! Here's a list of summer activities on and around campus. How many can you check off as 'things you've done'?

On campus:

  • Concerts at the Terrace
  • Ice cream at the Terrace
  • Bike or walk the Lakeshore Path
  • Hike to Picnic Point
  • Rent kayaks, canoes and SUPs from Outdoor UW at the Memorial Union
  • Visit Alumni Park
  • Allen Centennial Garden
  • Beach volleyball at the Lakeshore Courts

Off-campus:

  • Dane County Farmers Market on Saturdays around the Capitol
  • Henry Vilas Zoo
  • Madison Mallards Baseball Game
  • Forward Madison FC Soccer Game
  • Rent a BCycle and bike the Monona Loop
  • Olbrich Botanical Gardens
  • Concerts on the Square
  • Climb at Devil's Lake
  • Mad-City Ski Team show
