The Annual WAA: Milwaukee Chapter Golf Outing held at Kettle Hills Golf Course in Richfield, WI, on Saturday, August 3rd, was an outstanding success. This event has become a tradition within our chapter, and this year was no exception, with our dedicated participants, volunteers, and donors coming together to raise an impressive $9,900 for our scholarship fund!
The funds raised during the golf outing are crucial in supporting future Badgers as they embark on their college journey at the University of Wisconsin. We believe in the power of education, and this scholarship fund plays a vital role in helping deserving students achieve their academic goals and dreams.
The day was blessed with beautiful weather, creating the perfect backdrop for a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to a worthy cause. From the early morning tee-offs to the final putt, the spirit of community and generosity was evident in every aspect of the event.
We are profoundly grateful to all the golfers who participated, demonstrating their skill and sportsmanship on the course. Our heartfelt thanks also go out to the numerous volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, and to our generous donors whose contributions have a lasting impact on the lives of future UW students.
This year's golf outing was more than just a day on the course; it was a celebration of our shared dedication to fostering the next generation of Badgers. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year as we continue to build on this tradition of support and success.
